Day 1: Hanoi – arrival (-/L/-)
Meet upon arrival at Hanoi International Airport,transfer to city for short orientation tour: French colonial quarter, Hoa Lo prison known as "Hanoi Hilton", Temple of Literature, Hanoi Opera, Museum of Ethnology. Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Time at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi. Check - in time at 2:00pm.
 
Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B/L/-)
We discover Hanoi-the charming capital of Vietnam today:
Hochiminh’s mausoleum (closed on Monday & Friday, October & November) and his residence, Tran Quoc pagoda, One pillar pagoda.
Then explore Hoan Kiem lake and a short walk in the Hanoi Old quarter.
Attend a performance of water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
 
Day 3: Hanoi - Halong bay (B/L/D)
8.00am depart for Halong bay, 180km east of Hanoi, listed as World Heritage Area by UNESCO in 1994.
12:00, we board a traditional junk to discover the 8th World Wonder where the movie "Indochine" was realized with Catherine Deneuve, French star in the 1990’s. Lunch on boat with fresh seafood. It is time to relax on the deck through the most beautiful landscapes with more than 2,000 islands and limestones, rising from the emerald water. Visit a natural cave, the most picturesque grotto in the bay. Swimming (if the weather permits) and relaxing on the deck. Dinner & Overnight on board.
 
Day 4: Halong bay – Hanoi (B/L/-)
Continue our excursion until lunch.
12h00 Drive back to Hanoi. Leisure time. Overnight in Hanoi.
 
Day 5: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Vinh (B/L/-)
Depart for Hoalu,ancient capital of Vietnam kingdom during 10th century: Visit Dinh & Le Temples dedicated to Dinh & Le Anterior dynasties. From Hoalu to Tam Coc, you have wonderful landscapes as in Halong bay with limestone rocks, rice fields and villages. Lunch at local restaurant. Enjoy 2hours excursion on Ngo Dong river to explore Tamcoc, Halong bay inland.
Then drive straight to Vinh. Overnight in Vinh city.
 
Day 6: Vinh – Dong Hoi (B/L/-)
We leave Vinh city for Dong Hoi. Visit Kim Lien Village where uncle Ho passed his childhood at the end of 19th century. Then continue our trip to Dong Hoi. Upon arrival, check-in at Sun Spa resort.
Afternoon: Free time for relax or your own activities. Overnight  at Sun Spa Resort in Dong Hoi.
 
Day 7: Dong Hoi – Phong Nha Cave – Dong Hoi (B/L/-)
Today we discover Phong Nha – Ke Bang caves, listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.
Get on a boat, go up the river Son to Phong Nha Cave. Stay on boat for 700m, then you can walk to see 500m deeper in the cave. Explore the remains of Cham Altars and Inscriptions inside.
Back to Dong Hoi. Overnight at Sun Spa Resort in Dong Hoi Town
 
Day 8: Dong Hoi – DMZ - Hue (B/L/-)
Today we spend full day to discover DMZ zone.
During Vietnam-American War, the Ben Hai River was the demarcation line between North and South Vietnam. There was a Demilitarized Zone of five km each side from the river. However the Southern area of DMZ was one of the bloodiest battlefields. This tour to DMZ will take you back to the war sites, including: Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc Tunnel, Khe Sanh Combat, Ho Chi Minh Trail, Dong Ha Town, and Rock Pile. Last but not least, you will have a chance to visit Van Kieu ethnic minority to learn about their daily life as well as their customs and habits.
Proceed to Hue late in the afternoon. Overnight in Hue.
 
Day 9: Hue city tour (B/L/-)
Full day to explore Hue, the former Royal city of the 13 ruling Nguyen dynasties: visit the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden city, Tu Duc king’ mausoleum and a local market Dong Ba. Enjoy a boat trip on the Perfume River to discover Thien Mu pagoda, the wonderful architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Lunch at local restaurant. Accommodation in Hue.
 
Day 10: Hue – Hoian (B/L/-)
Depart for Danang. The scenic 3 hours drive via Hai Van (Cloud pass) offers spectacular views of mountains, the sea, idyllic beaches and villages. Visit Cham museum on the way. We continue further south to the charming historic city of Hoian. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Overnight in Hoian
 
Day 11: Hoian – My Son holy land (B/L/-)
After breakfast, discover Hoian ancient town, known to early Western merchants, the city was one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century. Hoian has a distinctive Chinese atmosphere with los, tiled-roof houses and narrow streets. Many of the houses were constructed of rare timbers and decorated with lacquer panels engraved with Chinese characters and pillars carved with ornamental designs. Visit historic merchants and community houses, places of worship and Japanese bridge, market Hoian.
PM: Drive to My Son sanctuary, the empire Cham 4-16th centuries.
Accommodation in Hoi An.
 
Day 12: Hoian Beach (B/-/-)
Breakfast at the resort.
Free day at your own activities. Overnight in Hoian.
 
Days 13-14: Hoian Beach (B/-/-)
Breakfast at the resort.
Free day at your own activities. Overnight in Hoian.
 
Day 15: Hoian – Saigon (B/L/-)
Transfer to Danang Domestic Airport for flight to Hochiminh city
PM: Discover Hochiminh city (formerly Saigon), the biggest economic center in the country: visit Opera house, cathedral Notre Dame and Post Office, China town, Thien Hau pagoda, Lam Son lacquer factory. Accommodation in Hochiminh city.
 
Day 16: Saigon – Cuchi tunnels – Caodai temple (B/L/-)
Drive to Cu Chi tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to Cambodian border and was three levels deep. There are more than 200km of underground tunnels, consisting of a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels.The remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life in the war must have been like.

Continue our journey to Cao Dai temple in Tay Ninh province, the most important religious site in the region.

Back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 17: Saigon – Caibe – Cantho (B/L/-)
Drive to Caibe, to explore the Mekong delta. Caibe is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy a boat trip on the Mekong river and visit an orchard on an island. Lunch at local restaurant.
Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight in Cantho.
 
Day 18: Cantho – Chau Doc (B/L/-)
Experience an excursion to Visit Cai Rang floatting market. Then continue our journey to Chau Doc. Lunch at local restaurant on the way.
Visit Lady Xu temple, Tay An pagoda and the SAM mountain where you can have a look over the Vietnam – Cambodia border. Back to hotel. Overnight in Chau Doc.
 
Day 19: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh (B/L/-)
Early breakfast at hotel
7:00am take the speedboat to Phnom Penh.
Pick up at Phnom Penh pier, then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Lunch at local restaurant.
We visit Phnom Penh highlights: Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Raung Damrei and National Museum, Independent Monument and tourist market called Russian Market (Toul Tompong Market). Overnight in Phnom Penh.
 
Day 20: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap (B/L/-)
Transfer to boat pier or airport for Siem Reap.
Upon arrival, enjoy an excursion on Tonle Sap Great Lake for to explore the floating village, fisherman lifestyle, school, clinic viewing. Back to the town to visit Artisan D’Angkor, the silk and carving center. Overnight in Riem Reap.
 
Day 21: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat (B/L/-)
We spend full day to discover South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Baphoun, Terrace, Phimean Akas. Afternoon visit Angkor Wat Temple. Sunset on Bakheng Hill. Overnight in Riem Reap.
 
Day 22: Siem Reap – departure (B/-/-)
Free at your own leisure until the time for transfer off to Siem Reap airport. Tour ends.
