Day 1: Luang Prabang - arrival (-/L/-)
On arrival at Luang Prabang airport, you will be welcome and transferred to the hotel for check-in.
In the afternoon, visit Wat Xienthong the most beautiful temple in the town built dating back to the 16th century, Wat Visoun and the Melon stupa next to Wat Aham, then leisurely climb up Mount Phousi to contemplate the sunset and on the way back visit the famous colorful night market. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 2: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou cave (B/L/-)
Today we start embarking for a slow boat trip to Pak Ou caves 32km up-river and along the way stop to visit the Lao whisky village and see the process how villagers make the potent Lau Lao (rice whisky) then continue on board to the cave where a thousand Buddha statues are kept. After visiting the cave back downstream to Luang Prabang for a typical Lao lunch.
Drive 29Km through the dense forest to visit the world famous Kuangsi waterfalls with a stop en route at colorful ethnic Hmong village. On the way back stop by by Ban Xangkhong (weaving village & Mulberry paper village) then transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3: Luang Prabang – Hanoi (B/-/-)
Very early morning (5:45am) private car transfer to Ban Vat Sean to watch a long line of monks in saffron robes collecting ceremonial alms. Back to the hotel for breakfast, check out and visit the former Royal Palace before transferring to Luang Prabang airport for Hanoi.
Meet upon arrival at Hanoi International Airport, then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Time at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi city tour (B/L/-)
We discover Hanoi-the charming capital of Vietnam today: Hochiminh’s mausoleum and his former residence, Tran Quoc pagoda, One pillar pagoda, French colonial quarter, Temple of Literature, Cathedral Saint Joseph, Hanoi Opera, Museum of Ethnology. Then explore Ngoc Son Temple, Hoan Kiem lake and a short walk in the Hanoi Old quarter. Attend a performance of water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
8:00am depart for Halong bay, 180km east of Hanoi, listed as World Heritage Area by UNESCO in 1994.
12:00 we board a traditional junk to discover the 8th World Wonder where the movie "Indochine" was realized with Catherine Deneuve, French star in the 1990’s. Lunch on boat with fresh seafood. It is time to relax on the deck through the most beautiful landscapes with more than 3,000 islands and limestone islets, rising from the emerald water. Visit a natural cave, the most picturesque grotto in the bay. Swimming if possible and relaxing on the deck. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6: Halong Bay - Hanoi – Hue (B/L/-)
AM: Continue our excursion until 11:45 with lunch on board. Disembark at noon.
Drive to Hanoi airport. Visit a workshop of potteries en route.
Fly to Hue.
Transfer to hotel for check-in. Leisure time. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue city tour (B/L/-)
Full day to explore Hue, the former Royal city of the 13 ruling Nguyen dynasties: visit the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden city, Tu Duc king’ mausoleum and a local market Dong Ba. Enjoy a boat trip on the Perfume River to discover Thien Mu pagoda, the wonderful architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Lunch at local restaurant. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue - Danang - Hoian (B/L/-)
Depart for Danang. The scenic 3 hours drive via Hai Van (Clouds pass) offers spectacular views of mountains, the sea, idyllic beaches and villages. Visit Cham museum and the marble mountain on the way. We continue further south to the charming historic city of Hoian. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Accommodation in Hoian.
Day 9: Hoian – My Son holy land (B/L/-)
AM: discover Hoian ancient town, known to early Western merchants, the city was one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century.Hoian has a distinctive Chinese atmosphere with low, tiled-roof houses and narrow streets. Many of the houses were constructed of rare timbers and decorated with lacquer panels engraved with Chinese characters and pillars carved with ornamental designs. Visit historic merchants and community houses,places of worship  and Japanese bridge, Hoian central market.  Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: explore My Son holy land, listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10: Danang - Hochiminh city (B/L/-)
Transfer to Danang domestic airport for flight to Hochiminh city.
Drive to downtown to explore  Hochiminh city, the biggest trading center in the country: Notre Dame Cathedral, Post office, China town,  formerly Presidential Palace, War Remnants Museum. Check-in at hotel. Leisure time. Overnight  in Hochiminh city.
Day 11: Hochiminh city - My Tho - Ben Tre - Can Tho (B/L/-)
Drive to My Tho, a prosperious town of 170000 inhabitants in the Mekong delta. My Tho is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy a boat trip on the Mekong river and visit an orchard on an island. Lunch at local restaurant.
Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight in Cantho.
Day 12: Can Tho - Hochiminh city (B/L/-)
Experience an excursion to visit Cai Rang floating market and lush orchard. Lunch at local rsetaurant. Continue to discover a Khmer temple. Drive back to Hochiminh city.Check-in at hotel. Overnight in Hochiminh city.
Day 13: Hochiminh city – Caodai temple - Cuchi tunnels (B/L/-)
Drive to Tay Ninh to explore Caodai Temple. We will participate to the messe at noon. Lunch at local restaurant.
Then continue our journey to Cu Chi tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Hochiminh city to Cambodian border and was three levels deep. There are more than 200km of underground tunnels, consisting of a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels.The remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life in the war must have been like. On the way back to Hochiminh city, stopover at local homes producing rice papers & rice wine. Overnight  in Hochiminh city.
Day 14: Hochiminh city - Departure (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel,
Transfer to HCM/Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure flight. End of services.
