Hoa Binh province is home to Hmong, Muong, Dzao and Thai ethnic minorities. The area has changed a lot since the largest hydropower plant in Southeast Asia was built here, turning the Da River into a lake. Still, even today the province boasts some of Vietnam’s most beautiful scenery.
08:00AM Meet our local guide at the lobby of your hotel in Hanoi.
Depart for Hoa Binh town (70 km west of Hanoi). Visit a daily market on the way where you can see all kind of products in exchange by local people. Then continue our journey to Cao Phong village to meet Muong and Thai people at their homes. Lunch at local restaurant.
On the way back to Hanoi, we will visit Tay Phuong (West) or Thay (Master) pagodas built in 11th century, located in the magnificient landscapes of the countryside.
